Harmanpreet Kaur’s Biography
She is Harmanpreet Kaur , born on 8th March,1989 from Punjab. She is an Indian cricketer who has played in 2 Tests, 49 and 53 Twenty20 internationals for india. She is right handed batsman
She made her debut at age of 20 against arch-rivals Pakistan women’s in March 2009 in the 2009 women’s world cup played at oval. Daughter of a clerk in the local District Court became the first woman to be signed by Sydney Thunder in the second edition of T20 Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) in Australia.
On July 20 ,2017 (Yesterday) she scored 171*(115) with 20 fours and 7 sixes against Australia in the Women’s World Cup 2017 in Derby. Kaur’s 171* is currently the second-highest score by an Indian batsman in women’s one-day internationals, behind Deepti Sharma’s 188 runs. With this massive score, she made sure india’s way towards final against South Africa on Sunday.
