‘दोहरी कृपा जिसने मेरे दिल को डरना सिखाया,
और अनुग्रह से मेरा भय दूर हो गया;
वह अनुग्रह कितना कीमती दिखाई दिया
जिस घंटे मैंने पहली बार विश्वास किया था!

श्लोक ३
अनेक खतरों, परिश्रमों और फन्दों से,
मैं पहले ही आ चुका हूँ;
‘तीस अनुग्रह ने मुझे अब तक सुरक्षित लाया है,
और अनुग्रह मुझे घर ले जाएगा।

श्लोक 4
यहोवा ने मुझ से भलाई का वचन दिया है,
उसका वचन मेरी आशा सुरक्षित करता है;
वह मेरी ढाल और भाग होगा,
जब तक जीवन रहता है।

श्लोक ५
हाँ, जब यह मांस और हृदय विफल हो जाएगा,
और नश्वर जीवन समाप्त हो जाएगा,
मैं परदे के भीतर, अधिकारी होगा,
आनंद और शांति का जीवन।

पृथ्वी जल्द ही बर्फ की तरह घुल जाएगी,
सूरज ने चमकना बंद कर दिया;
लेकिन भगवान, जिसने मुझे यहाँ नीचे बुलाया,
हमेशा के लिए मेरा रहेगा।

जब हम वहाँ दस हज़ार साल रहे हैं,
सूरज की तरह तेज चमकीला,
हमारे पास भगवान की स्तुति गाने के लिए कम दिन नहीं हैं
जब हमने पहली बार शुरुआत की थी।
